Global Environmental Intelligence, LLC

GEI is an environmental consultancy based in Chicago that provides services on air pollution modeling and data science to government, private, and academic organizations. Our specialties include meteorology, emissions, and regional air quality modeling, emissions inventories, cloud computing, and machine learning. We use advanced computing technology and deep knowledge of air emissions sources to help our clients design and implement evidence-based plans to reduce air pollution and climate emissions.

Who Are We

Global Environmental Intelligence, LLC was founded by Zac Adelman in 2025. Zac is an environmental data scientist and executive leader with a passion for using data to drive smarter decisions on air quality, climate, and public health.

Zac has extensive experience leading teams of technical and policy professionals to build innovative tools that help air pollution planning agencies reduce air pollution and improve environmental outcomes.
